Weekend of firsts.

This weekend was full of firsts for Emma and a few for me. Briefly, we went canoeing (24 miles down the Harpeth River)*, we camped on an island in the river**, we skipped rocks*, we cooked hot dogs over a campfire*, we did our business outside (number 2)(using the burn and bury method)(tmi?)*, we swung from a rope swing(sort of)*, we collected clamshells, we saw wild turtles, snakes*, cranes*, fish, and lightning bugs, and we brewed beer (when we got back home)*.

Awesome.
